Wash the stainless steel top, tray, and pump with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
2. š§ Pre-soak the filter.
Soak the activated carbon filter in cool water for 2 minutes, then rinse under the tap until the water runs clear. Place it into the filter compartment.
3. š Seat the pump and assemble.
Place the pump into its housing, attach the tray, and add your preferred water spout (bubble or stream).
4. š° Fill with fresh tap water.
Fill up to the "MAX" line on the water-level window. Never run the fountain dry ā this damages the pump.
5. ā” Plug in and let it flow.
Connect the USB adapter, plug into a nearby outlet, and place the fountain where your cat already spends time. Keep their old bowl nearby for the first few days so they can transition at their own pace.
